Danica (Dasha) Ilic is a freelance journalist who has been working with the EJN on the Building Trust in Media in South East Europe and Turkey project supported by UNESCO. Dasha was the Editor of the flagship co-production between BBC World Service and Belgrade-based RTV B92. She has conducted numerous trainings on multimedia reporting, hate speech and diversity in the Western Balkans, Algeria, Morocco, Mauritania, Tunisia, China and the UK. Dasha contributed to the EJN report “Innocent Mistakes”. She is the author of an online guide on media relations in the digital age for civil society activists.
