Beth Colson UK Committee Member

Beth Colson is an editorial leader with 20+ years of experience in international video news production. Now a freelance digital storyteller, she spent many years as Head of News Production at The Associated Press, working to deliver stories to over 700 subscribers around the globe.  During her time at the AP, she was part of an international editorial team which won a Pulitzer Prize for their investigation of the seafood industry in Southeast Asia that freed more than 2,000 slaves and traced the seafood they caught to supermarkets and pet food providers across the U.S.  Beth began her career in broadcast television news at ITN before moving onto editorial roles at the BBC and Sky in London. She has a degree in Anthropology from Goldsmiths’ and an MA in Anthropology of Media from SOAS, University of London.
