Prague Media Point: Media ethics and Migration

On November 7, the EJN’s Director, Aidan White, was part of the opening ceremony of Prague Media Point’s Media and Migration conference talking about our Moving Stories report and new guidelines for reporting migration that have been translated in Czech.

The three-day conference was opened on Monday evening by Arndt Freiherr Freytag von Loringhoven the German Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Germany and Jeremy Druker, Executive Director of Transitions and the Founder of Press Start.

The following panel discussion featuring Aidan was moderated by Pavlína Kvapilová a journalist from the Czech Republic.

Other participants in the opening panel were Gavan Titley, lecturer at the National University of Ireland and Gordana Knezevic, who works for Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) in the Czech Republic.
