Ethics in the News Podcast: Alice Taylor on how Exit News implimented the EJN’s Ethical Audit process

The Ethical Journalism Network, supported by UNESCO and the EU, is implementing the ‘Building Trust in Media in South East Europe and Turkey Phase 2’ project dedicated to ethical audits. Ethical audits are a self-assessment exercise conducted by media outlets that want to show and improve their commitment to good governance and ethical and professional standards. In this podcast, the EJN speaks with Alice Taylor, the co-editor of the Exit News portal based in Tirana, Albania which was amongst the first media outlets in the Balkans to conduct the ethical audit.

Building Trust in Media in South East Europe and Turkey is an EJN project in partnership with UNESCO, supported by the EU. The latest phase of the project is to support the media outlets in this region to perform ethical audits.
