Alf Bjarne Johnsen Trustee

Alf Bjarne Johnsen was appointed to the EJN’s board of trustees in December 2021.

He was the chair of the Norwegian Press Ethics Commission, Pressens Faglige Utvalg, from 2014 to 2020. He has more than 40 years of experience as a journalist, from 1983 until present in Oslo-based Verdens Gang (VG) Media House. As senior political reporter, he covers the executive and legislative bodies in Norway, and does in-depth reporting on domestic and international security policy. He has also been their correspondent in Stockholm and New York.
