Uncovering Asia

From 23-25 September the EJN’s coordinator Oona Solberg attended, Uncovering Asia, a training conference for investigative reporters and other journalists. The conference was hosted by the Global Investigative Journalism Network, the Centre for Investigative Journalism, Nepal, and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung.

The conference in Kathmandu, Nepal followed the first Uncovering Asia Conference, which was held in Manila on November 22-24, 2014, and attracted 300 people from 30 countries.

As well as speakers from over 30 countries, this year’s keynote speaker will be Walter “Robby” Robinson, leaders of the Boston Globe’s Pulitzer Prize-winning Spotlight team.
