EJN Panel Video: Responsible Reporting on Domestic Violence

This is a recording of an EJN panel held on November 24, 2020, with Oisika Chakrabarti of UN Women, Shaista Aziz of Solace Women’s Aid, domestic abuse campaigner David Challen and Janey Starling, co-founder of Level Up. It was moderated by EJN director, Hannah Storm.

The panel provides practical suggestions for journalists on their roles and responsibilities in covering domestic violence, the impact of their work on survivors, victims and families, and was held to coincide with International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, on November 25.
