UNESCO: The media’s role in migrant crisis

On March 18th the Ethical Journalism Network’s director, Aidan White, was invited to speak at UNESCO’s International Programme for the Development of Communication (IPDC) event in Paris to discuss the ethical issues media face when covering migration.

The presentation focused on the EJN’s recent Moving Stories report looking at how international media cover migration and our campaign against hate speech using our five-point test.
