The Press Coucil BiH is a self-regulatory body for print and online media, whose aim is to mediate between unsatisfied media readers, and print and online media as well as to supervise the application of the BH Press Code.


Ethics and Self-Regulation

On 24th January 2018, More than 30 judges and journalists gathered in a conference room at a seminar to discuss media ethics and freedom of expression at a two-day seminar to strengthen judicial expertise.

This meeting, organised by the Council of Europe and BiH press council as part of Europe’s JUFREX project, focused on how these problems have created headaches in Bosnia for lawyers and journalists alike.

EJN Programme Report 2016

On March 1 the EJN launched its Western Balkans ethics programme in co-operation with UNESCO, the European Federation of Journalists and Press Council of Bosnia Hercegovina and on March 18 the EJN made an address to the UNESCO IPDC conference in Paris on media and migration.
