TAJOA offers a platform for continuous learning and sharing amongst journalists and citizens. It recognises the importance of sharing information and values the promotion of responsible and credible journalism.
In order to maintain high quality journalism, TAJOA has a media monitoring component that evaluates the impact of media houses on society. It also analyses current research regarding citizen media trends, both internationally and in Tanzania. This allows for the constant review of TAJOA’s performance and enhances constant learning amongst its partners. TAJOA also invites media workers, press people and citizens to contribute towards alternative perspectives on governance, development, human rights and other important issues.
