Backed with 10 years’ experience in a country where constraints on press freedom remain one of the most important challenges to achieving democracy, the Cambodian Center for Independent Media has unparalleled expertise in providing unbiased and accurate news to the Cambodian people.

CCIM was registered with the Ministry of Interior in June 2007 and took over legal responsibility for Voice of Democracy (VOD) radio production. VOD is the country’s only independent, Khmer-language news network, reaching more than 8.5 million people via its two radio stations, website, online TV and social media platforms. Moreover, CCIM remains the only organization in Cambodia working to promote human rights and responsible journalism through media as well as community projects.
